Thank you for all of your kind words and support after my last post. I’m giving you a big virtual hug right now.
Sharing my story from SAHM to WAHM: Becoming a Freelance Writer (Stay-At-Home-Mom to Work-At-Home-Mom – just clarifying to ensure everyone is up with the lingo around here) was a vulnerable piece of my life for me to put out there. I am grateful to all of you who read it and shared your words of encouragement and your own experiences.
After my SAHM to WAHM story went live last week a number of women reached out to me with questions and ideas.
Some inquired about how I got started on my website and what tools I used to create it.
Others were inspired to start writing themselves.
There were even those who began to think about if they could quit their full-time jobs and become SAHMs or WAHMs while pursuing a side venture.
If we put ourselves out there we may find others who are looking for connections just like we are in the most unlikely places.
This website is a place for creating space. A space for connecting and building our community – because it truly takes a village.
My goals for kristinanngeorge.com are to share topics related to living our best lives and being our most authentic selves. Not to sound too much like Oprah, or anything.
Topics include…
Healthy living
How our family chooses to make healthy life choices from the food we consume to the cleaning products we use and the overall elusive balance we are all striving for will be shared here.
I love time-saving ideas and creating efficiency in our everyday life and will be writing about ways I’ve found to live more a more simple and intentional life.
Parenting discussions
Parenting is a very personal and individualized topic. And we’re all collectively doing the best we can for our children and families.
This blog will detail some of the events happening in the George family, while respecting the privacy of our children.
My hope is that through sharing we all feel less alone and more connected in our lives and decisions.
Women’s educational and career goals
Being a trained Global Career Development Facilitator I am passionate about women pursuing their educational and career goals. These stories take shape in many different forms and via various paths.
Talking about women’s career issues such as interviewing while pregnant, maternity leave, and taking pauses in employment to stay home with children or becoming mothers who work from home are just some of the topics you may find here.
Many other topics and ideas
Sharing products I’m using and liking, what we’ve been up to lately, how I created my blog, freelance writing topics, etc. are just a snippet of other ideas you may see on this site.
So…here’s where I’ll get all gushy and express my true gratitude to you for reading my blog and joining me in creating community. Please reach out and send me your thoughts or ideas of topics you may want to read about.
We’re all in this together.
